Parineeti Chopra and her husband, Raghav Chadha, have shared exciting news — they are expecting their first child. Their announcement, made on Monday, received lots of love and warm messages from their family, friends, and fans on social media.

Parineeti had talked about her hopes of becoming a mother long before this moment.
In a 2013 interview with Filmfare, she mentioned she always wanted to have "lots of children" and was also open to adoption. She said, "I'd love to adopt a child. I might not be able to conceive all of them, so I'll adopt."

In the same interview, she shared her unique views on love and romance.
She said she didn't like typical gestures like flowers, gifts, or fancy dinners. Instead, she preferred simple things — like staying home, watching TV, and eating pizza together.

On Monday, Parineeti and Raghav posted a joint message on Instagram.
They showed a white-and-gold cake with the words "1 + 1 = 3" and tiny baby footprints. Their caption read: "Our little universe … on its way. Blessed beyond measure." They also included a video of them walking hand in hand in a park.

The couple got engaged in May 2023 at Kapurthala House in Delhi and got married a few months later in Udaipur.
They had been hinting at "good news" for some time. Earlier this month, Raghav even mentioned it on The Great Indian Kapil Show, promising they would soon share happy news — and now they have!
